#ArchosaurArtApril2020

My entries for Emilly Stepp 2020's Archosaur Art April.

This was my first attempt to make an art prompt completely in digital art, and I think i succeded in it. I tried to use color schemes of animals from similar niches to that of the extinct archosaurs (water monitor for the Smilosuchus, wood stork for the Cryodrakon, etc) and some that are just cool but natural-looking (Galapagos land iguana for the Saurosuchus, Okapi for the Protorosaurus, etc).

And I know that any proto-feathering for non-dinosaur archosaurs is totally speculative, but I was pleased with the results with the fluffy small guys (Euparkeria, Mesosuchus, Scleromochlus and Vancleavea).

Hope you like the results.
