Even though it is often ignored or even mocked by many Brazilians, national folklore is very vast and rich, showing very well the cultural diversity of our country, bringing together influences from Europeans - both colonists and late immigrants -, indigenous natives and Africans - forced immigrants by the Atlantic slave trade.
August 22nd is the Folklore Day here, and that's why I decided, in August 2019, to make a series of drawings on my IG profile with creatures from Brazilian folklore, trying to bring a little more awareness about them. The descriptions in Brazilian Portuguese can be seen in the original posts here https://www.instagram.com/perbonirenato/
Descriptions in English are on my DA gallery https://www.deviantart.com/rperboni
I hope you like it and absorb that knowledge.
