Dwarf

Concept made for future RPG campaign I want to DM in the future, which takes place in the Eastern fantasy world. Each of the basic races has a background inspired by some Asian culture - more precisely South, Southeast and Far East - and all have birds like mounts.

The dwarves are inspired by the Mongols and other cultures of the steppes, such as Tartars and Huns, following shamanic traditions and being largely nomadic, with the exception of their capital, a meeting point for all the dwarvish hordes scattered across the steppes. Kiwis are the mounts of choice for dwarves, having hawks as game birds and adzebills and tinamous as pack animals.
